Em meados de Abril surgem as primeiras cerejas do ano na zona de Resende, altura ideal para provar as Trouxinhas de Cereja criadas pelo Chef João Gomes. Embora já fizesse uma versão diferente destes doces, em 2015 aprimorou a receita e chegou ao ponto definitivo.
Além de um delicioso recheio de doce de cereja, as trouxinhas são cobertas por uma manteiga também de cereja, à qual é impossível resistir.

In mid April the first cherries of the year spring around the area of Resende. It is time to savour the Trouxinhas de Cereja created by Chef João Gomes. Although he used to make a different version of this sweet, in 2015 he perfected the recipe and settled it.
Besides its delicious cherry jam filling, the trouxinhas are covered in cherry butter. It’s impossible not to try it.
