A Casa D’Avó, em Nisa, mantém muitas tradições doceiras. As responsáveis, Sílvia e Cecília, aprenderam a arte com uma senhora mais velha e, agora, fazem os bolos que antigamente estavam sem falta nas mesas dos casamentos naquela região, como é o caso deste bolo mármore, a almofada.

Casa D’Avó, in Nisa, keeps many confectionery traditions. The women behind it, Sílvia and Cecília, learned the art from an older lady and now they make the cakes that, in the past, were always present at the table of weddings in the region. Such is the case of this marble cake, the almofada (pillow).
