O pequeno docinho que fomos provar ao Cadaval não tinha, à partida, nada de outro mundo. Massa filo, doce de ovos e amêndoa, enfim, tudo aquilo que já conhecemos. Há só um detalhe especial: é muito bem feito. Foi criado há poucos anos, com a Serra de Montejunto a inspirar a receita. Experimentando de uma maneira e de outra, ficou assim. Pois bem, agora é uma especialidade do concelho. Quem passar por aqui que leve uma caixinha e vai ver como desaparecem num instante.

This little sweet we tasted in Cadaval wasn’t special at first glance. Filo dough, egg and almond cream, so everything we already know. But there is a special detail: it’s very well made. It was created a few years ago, with the Montejunto mountains in mind to inspire the recipe. After some attempts to make it this way and that way, the sweet became what it is. So, now it is a delicacy in the region. If you pass by, take a box of sweets and you’ll see how fast they disappear.
