Mas em qualquer altura do ano encontramos gulodices com chícharo para experimentar. Um bom exemplo é a marca Doce Felicidade, que apostou no chícharo local há alguns anos para confeccionar um pastel e um travesseiro diferentes. São os próprios doceiros os produtores do ingrediente utilizado no recheio. O resultado assemelha-se à utilização de feijão, mas o recheio de chícharo fica mais húmido e cremoso.
