Depois de algum tempo a planear e a preparar toda a complexa logística, demos início à nossa viagem épica por Portugal – sem esquecer as ilhas – à descoberta das especialidades doceiras de cada concelho.
São perto de 380 concelhos, 20 distritos e centenas e centenas de doces e seus respectivos doceiros e pasteleiros.
Por onde passarmos, vamos recolher fotografias e vídeos de entrevistas e histórias sobre as pessoas, os locais e os doces. E depois de provarmos essas especialidades, escreveremos sobre elas e sobre quem as fabrica diariamente, quer a sua história tenha 500 anos ou 500 dias.

After some time spent planning and preparing all of the complex logistics, we initiated our epic journey across Portugal (including the Islands) in order to discover the confectionery typical of each and every county.
We will be introducing nearly 380 counties, 20 districts and hundreds and hundreds of sweets and their respective confectioners.
In every place we plan to pass by, we will take photographs and collect video footage with interviews and stories about the people, the places, and the confectionery. And after tasting these delicacies, we will write about them and about those who make them daily, whether the story to tell is 500 years or 500 days old.
