In Ponta Delgada we find A Colmeia, a pastry shop beautifully located on Avenida Infante Dom Henrique. Here they have created a cheese tartlet carrying the island inside: cheese, orange, pineapple, cinnamon and egg custard cream; and even the shape was inspired in the hydrangeas that decorate the roads of São Miguel. Fernando Neves, owner of the shop, explains that each flavor we discover in the tartlet has to do with the history of the islands. If you visit this city, you must try it.
