Nélson Martins começou a interessar-se pela pastelaria há poucos anos. Apercebeu-se de que tinha jeito, surgiu a oportunidade de ficar com a pastelaria do amigo Desidério, o antigo dono, e meteu-se neste negócio. Entretanto, o Sr. Desidério, mais velho, sugeriu-lhe que tentasse fazer os Mexericos, doce de receita antiga, que tinha aprendido com uma senhora idosa da aldeia. Nélson Martins got himself interested in pastry a few years ago. He realized he had a talent for it, he had the opportunity of continuing with the pastry shop of his friend Desidério, the former owner, and so he ventured in this business. Meanwhile, Desidério, who is an older gentleman, suggested that Nélson should try to make Mexericos, an old recipe he had learned from an elderly village lady.
